Project Incubation & Graduation Policy
AMEVA 재단 3-Tier 프로젝트 인큐베이션 및 승격 정책
Lifecycle Structure
AOSF employs a structured 3-tier lifecycle to guide projects from initial research prototypes to enterprise-grade Top-Level Projects (TLP).
1. The 3-Tier Classification
| Tier | Maturity Stage | Expectations & Scope | Current Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1: Flagship TLP | Production-Ready | Official PyPI/npm releases, dual-runtime packaging, 100% test coverage, active community. | AMEVA Workstation, Termux-Playwright, Termux-Diffusion |
| Tier 2: Incubating | Standardization | Established core architecture, single-source op contracts, ongoing documentation and CI/CD hardening. | AMEVA-Forge, Termux-Torch, Termux-Whisper |
| Tier 3: Labs & Research | Experimental / PoC | Exploratory architectures, bleeding-edge multi-agent systems, community collaboration PRs. | Dead Internet Theatre, Agent Orchestra, MCP-Wasm-Toolkit, BitNet |
2. Graduation Checkpoints
Checkpoint A: Tier 3 → Tier 2 (Incubation Entry)
- Clear alignment with the Edge-First & Serverless Edge Architecture mission.
- Working proof-of-concept with reproducible local execution instructions.
- Standard open-source license adoption (Apache 2.0 or MIT).
- Sponsorship and recommendation by at least one active PMC member.
Checkpoint B: Tier 2 → Tier 1 (Graduation to Flagship TLP)
- Official publishing to global registries (PyPI, npm, or live Web App deployment).
- Automated CI/CD suite passing 100% on target platforms (Linux, Android Bionic, WebGPU).
- Comprehensive documentation portal following the standard template.
- Demonstrated production reliability and active issue triage.
- 2/3 affirmative vote by the Foundation Board and PMC.
3. Project Retirement (Attic)
Projects that have fulfilled their research purpose or are superseded by newer architectures are respectfully moved to the "Attic" archive. Their repositories and source code remain permanently open and accessible.
